The vending machines are supposed to contain an assortment of both healthy and un-healthy drinks and snacks. Right now, theyre nearly empty and only the healthy and nutritionally complete (but rather lacking in flavour) items are in stock. There's a dent in the side of the drinks machine, where it looks like someone has kicked it. It's a pretty sizeable dent considering that vending machines are made of metal. You would probably break your toe if you tried to do that. You wonder if whoever kicked it had superhuman foot strength, or if they were just wearing steel toed shoes.
Currently, one of your jobs on the base is to stock the vending machines and ensure they're working correctly. You don't know who this will be reassigned to while you are gone.
